How does someone get started working with you?

You can contact me through any of my social media but website/email is best.

When will I get my photos?

Your photos will be delivered 2-3 weeks after your session

Where will my shoot take place?

Depending on the type of shoot we can meet at a destination of your choice, at your home, or at my in-home studio in Mechanicsville, VA.

When should I do my maternity session?

I recommended scheduling your maternity session between 32-36 weeks pregnant depending on how you are carrying. We want your belly at it’s biggest/roundest but still want you comfortable moving around. 

When should I book my newborn session? How old can baby be for newborn session?

It is best to schedule your newborn portraits before baby is born. Once baby is born, you will schedule the official date for your newborn session within the first 20 days of birth.  

Can I book more than one session?

Of course you can! When booking more then one session you receive a package discount. The more sessions, bigger a discount. Packages are great for expecting parents who would like to capture babies first year but anyone can create a package! They are customizable to what you would like.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel after booking?

As stated in the contract you signed when booking, your retainer is non-refundable. Katie is understanding things change and life happens. She will work with you to reschedule your session.

What if weather isn’t on our side?

We can’t predict weather therefore Katie will work with you on rescheduling your session.
